Will apples keep the dentist away?

When i was still staying in Clementi, its my first visit to Q&M dental and surgery to have my crooked not so wise wisdom tooth extracted. I was attended by this female dentist whom perform the whole surgery without any pain inflicted. Whats more i only took one pain killer and enjoyed my 5 days MC just before Chinese New Year happily calling people out for high tea, go shopping while others are working, and stuff like that.

Yesterday i went back to my trusted dentist who happens to be the same organisation at White Sands, Pasir Ris. It is my 2nd root canal treatment. I expect to fell nothing as the first treatment was a breeze and the nurse told me that it would take half the time for this second visit.

Things did not turn out so good when the dentist can't thoroughly clear the nerves. I had to be x-rayed again to see what is obstructing my dentist to do his job properly. Then he gave me anesthetic jab in the tooth. I opened my eyes and he merely said "pain ar?" I nood my head to inform him not to try that bloody stunt again.

Think he manage to clear whatever that is left of the nerves as the "thing" that he uses manage to ease through the small gaps of the roots. Hold it.... he is still pushing and drilling with that small apparatus. With local anesthetic i can still feel a slight pain whenever he poke me with that contraption and that is not good news. I reckon he will finish soon and let him continue jabbing my tooth. To my relieve, he is done with the probing business. I close my eyes and smile an impossible smile as a circular thing is in my mouth to keep it open.

Suddenly, sharp pain again! Eyes open big, trying to see what the heck is he doing. Immediately notice this big ass needle again!! Yes, then the word by this familiar voice again. "Pain ar??" I quickly nod my head, with puppy eyes pleading mercy. "Bear with it har, one more shot." said the dentist. Wow!! I near peed in my pants. I was struggling as he prick me the second time. You know when you had nightmare and the ghost is chasing you but you can't seem to run anywhere? Thats the feeling right there and then. Legs fail to move the body and silent screams. One drop of tear drop down my right eye. This is the second time i teared and it only happen on those chair which belongs to the dentist.

Bah!!! I hate going to the dentist. Too bad i still have a few more treatments to go before my crowing is done. Damn!!!
