Balik Kampung

Watched Aussie's match yesterday night against the Italians. Damn 11 Vs 10 men and they still lost the match. Swiss is famous for watches, banks and suck at taking penalty shots.

Balik kampung-ed last weekend, found that Malaysia is slowly moving towards the slumps. Arrived at Larkin bus terminal and people starts shouting at you. "KL, KL, KL, KL!!" , "You!! KL ar??" and worse of all they feel so proud doing this? How much money does one earn pushing bus tickets?

Ticket pushers are like sales people but what the heck are they shouting in front of their own counters? Its either they are or their boss are bloody stupid or... they are not cost sensitive about reducing cost/improving top line to increase profit margin.

If i want someone to shout at my counter, i'll get it recorded and play it with 2 loud speakers over and over again. Hence reducing operation cost and maximizing the effect against immediate competitors. On another hand, those pushers are should be running around looking for passengers instead of just sitting and shouting. "I have a bus at 2pm. Fill it with passengers and you will get RMxxx as your commission." Sounds more attractive for both the bus company and the ticket pusher right?

Ok..... finally was home after 2 hours of bus ride which i concuss all the way due to the world cup season. Something never change, its great to feel home and yeah... more pot holes. Damn town council spend so much money making road humps but never fill up them holes.

Nothing feels more at home than my own bedroom. I am a simple guy. One bed/mattress book racks, table and a cupboard is sufficient. I once saw a white owl perched on a pole outside my bedroom window. Scared myself silly cos i thought it was a pontianak, consoled only when it starts to hoot. It looks just like a hooded figure and mind you owls are not small birds hor.

The door used to be at the side of the table, facing the cupboard. Due to feng shui reason my dad had it changed. Sometimes i still look for the handle where it once use to be but is nothing but a wall now.

Batu Pahat is a great place to be in. Cheap food, standard of living not very high and able to get just about anything.
