Bubble-blowing

Anyone still remember this that u like to play during ur childhood days?

maybe nowadays seldom go down to the shops downstairs and walk, happened to stumble upon this when I was jalan-ing at the flea market at Far East Sq, which brought me some childhood memory back.

Remembered that my mum refused to buy me this when i was young. Probably due to knowing the nature of how "O" her daughter can get, and afraid that I will swallow the entire bottle of soap instead of turning them into beautiful bubbles.

Once, I was staying overnight at my ah ma's place. The next afternoon, Ah Mah brought me downstairs, offering to buy titbits for me...yeah...in sort of a way i became queen when my mum was not around. Remembered going through 2 shops, i just didn't see anything that I fancied. Then, I happened to lay my eyes on one of the bots, same bear pattern, at a corner. I told Ah Mah I wanted it and she was surprised. Speaking in Teochew, she asked me if i am sure that I didnt want food but this. I nodded my head and told her my mum won't buy this for me and straightaway she bought me one.

Wah, then I had helluva time blowing these bubbles and was enjoying myself so much at the corridor. After some time, the phone rang and it was my mum. Ah Mah told me she was on her way soon and quickly, i kept the bottle and she helped me to wash up abit (so as to keep my mum in the dark heh heh).

I think my mum still didn't know that it was my Ah Mah who bought me the very first bubble bear up till this day.

And now, today, just 5 more days to your 3rd death anniversary, Ah Mah, I hope these bubbles can reach you in Heaven =)
