Was just starting to enjoy my holidays and it ended abruptly.

Forth day of the lunar new year was the day my younger sister (dai suay) is suppose to catch her bird back to join the aborigines. I hitch a ride on dad's car as i need to start work the day after.
When we reached Gelang Patah, dad's car morph into a Harley... well sounded like one. It didn't have handle bars but instead a steering wheel! Well it has more luxuries compared to a Harley. Windows, wind shield, air condition, stereos, floor mats, 2 litre engine, leather seats, etc..
Upon hearing the noise, we stop the engine and have a close inspection at the bottom of the chassis. To our horror and disbelieve, the exhaust connecting from the extractor to the muffler broke loose. The loud noise we heard actually is the raw music made by the combustion chambers. Well, we had the whole pipe gold plated to prevent it from getting contaminated or eaten by rust. Guess we under estimated the lead and mercury content from the asphalt which must have neutralized the plating through chemical reactions.
Dad did a rough patch job with some clamps and wires but no koyok. It worked but the wounded beast have to crawl back to Batu Pahat while me and my sister continued our journey with the aid of a friend from Tuas Second Link to Changi Airport.An eventful day to start a new year. One exhaust pipe, caused a car to break down which in turn caused 4 people to be stationary which require 1 friend to assist. 1141. HUAT AR!!!!
