Every morning we, the peeps in Singapore are welcome with a shower of rain. Its very nice for sleeping but not for those who are going to work or school.

I kept pondering on what my pal Raymond said. Why the sudden interest in photography? I have always like to capture beautiful things (other than nature and sceneries, women are also included). It is a moment captured which occurs and passes the second after.
Nikon 18-55mm kit lens sold to fund new lens
Photography is the art form passed between 2 people, the photographer and the viewer. Some pictures work for a group of people, while others don't. It is like Picasso, whose art looks funny and simple to me but still sell at a rather exorbitant price.
No doubt, this is hell of an expensive hobby which keeps you on the look out and keep wanting to buy new lens and other accessories. My mum complains that my hobbies are all expensive, that explains why i am as broke as a pauper. Boys never stop playing with toys. Only their toys get bigger and more expensive.
My humble basic photography set: Nikon D50 body, Sigma 17-70mm (wide) & Sigma 70-300mm (tele). Hmm.. who wants to sponsor me a flash? Macro lens? Filters? Remote shutter release? etc..etc...
I got my equipments at quite a good bargain as all are used. Bidded them through a photography forum which i post only when necessary as i've got no experience, no talent and still learning.
This picture is raw and directly from the camera, did not edit but only crop off some portion of the sky.
This hobby is expensive and time consuming, but it is also rewarding if your picture turns out good.
