Just a few months ago, the government implemented the no smoking regulation in public areas such as coffeeshops, bus stations and public toilets. This rule pose some difficulties for smokers and their freedom of puffing is currently being restricted and watched.
I do pity these folks who use to puff away while sitting in the hawker center and sipping a cup of tea or coffee. Now they actually have to look for the "yellow box" which is a specific space for smokers to puff, but thats only like 10% of the total floor space of the hawker center?
Hence nowadays you will see a lot of smokers hanging out in the sun carrying their drinks enjoying their sticks. Poor souls, price of ciggarettes ain't cheap and they need to endure such torments just to take a puff.
Well to much of the non-smokers glee.. their call for such action has been answered by the government. Well, as usual they are still not satisfied. A few days ago in the forum section of the newspaper, some sick bastards is complaining that about the allocation of the yellow box area.
Apparently the hawker center at East Coast Park allocated the yellow box on those tables closer to the sea and this particular numb nut is not very "comfortable" about it claiming that the better seats is given to smokers. So now they regard smokers as lower grade citizen? Its so insensitive and naive to be posing such statement. What a self-centered sickening bastard.
