----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Before mobile phones terrorize class rooms and offices, pagers was the item craved by people from different walks of life. It was unable to make calls, not really user friendly and also no phonebook so everyone has to memorize numbers that they usually called. Who do that nowadays? Ask yourself whether could you remember 10 phone numbers without refering to any source. Also unlike a mobile phone, it is unable to customize its ring tone hence when one rings, people who uses the same ring tone will all look at their little box like communicating devices. Still its on every school children's wish list even when the packaging is not really that appealing.

Hey hey.... anyone still remember the codes that is being used to symbolize sentences?
Examples:512 - i love you
11771554 - i miss you
Also when text letters are able to be transmitted to pagers things starts to get to a new level and hype again. Well.... except that i don't really know how to use it other than that, all is ok.
I still remember that my sister bought the pager with her meagre pay that she is receiving form her part time work. Partly i am also to blame cos it was me that wanted the expensive equipment. Remember that the price was $130 when i bought it and its not worth a single cent now.
Despite being out of service, i am still keeping my yellow Motorola Memojazz pager for sentimental reasons. Appreciate and thankful to my sister who has been taking care of me during my poly days.
