I am quite pissed off at my computer's condition. Well 2 ways to look at things. GOOD: Accept the challenge and do something about it, or BAD: Sulk over it, go to bed and continue crying and blaming the world the next day. I am not going to adapt the latter hence after work, i went home changed and went straight to Sim Lim Square to start shopping for a new system.

Thanks to the help of Zilla, Solidone, Istari, Blur, MnM (did i miss out anyone?) who aided me in all the IT tech stuff. I made a bee line to the recommended place also the recommended items.
Zilla recommended Bell Systems Electronics Pte Ltd located at #05-68 SLS which i found the price to be more .... ahem.... reasonable compared to Fullwell, Cosmotronic, other shops.

Some of the stuff that i bought at Bell's. Nothing fantastic but it sure cost a bomb. My finance manager is complaining already. Still its after some price comparison that i choose to buy there. I did ask the uncle attending to me, who is known as T02 about the price but he replied modestly saying each shop has its own strong and weak points. Some items are cheaper there and vice versa. Nice guy to chat and ask for advice. There is another chap which isn't too friendly. I merely ask something not available on the pricelist and he gave some crappy answer. Dammit...

Rubber's mouth shot off again! Mouth reacted faster than the brain cos i got this cheap side and it trigger me to ask for free gifts.. o_O Well uncle T02 laughed and say business is competitive (of course, without competition there will be no improvement -___-") and gave me this name card holder. Then i notice that they are suppose to give this item to all intel pentium processor buyers...CHEAPO!!!

Was told that this RAM from Patriot is currently the most cost efficient. 84 clams for a 512 PC5400 DDR2 which comes with heatsink but not a life time warranty like Kingston's.
Whoo... check out the golden heatsink on this Graphic card. Looks cool eh? I know gold is the most conductive material but does that apply to heat? Gotta ask my materials engineer.
Notice that the slots on the mobo are not inline with the holes on the casing...at first i thought it was a flaw. I tried to install the graphic card from the first mobo slot to the first casing hole and suddenly saw this incident. Then i notice that the PCI cards are also offseted to one end which i have always thought that they are at the center of the slots. Did confront ZhenZi with this issue. She is as blur as i am

ZhenZi: Yo Ber how is the PC coming?
Rubber: Ehx?? Why my mobo's PCI slots not inline with the casing's hole?
Zhenzi: Huh? What do you mean?
Rubber: The PCI Slots are offseted and no inline.
ZhenZi: Har? Why like that? I think you better go back to the shop tomorrow morning.


Everything is in, imagine i was here carrying and wearing all my good luck charms, crossing my fingers, toes and braid my hair hoping that i did not screw up anything and causing me more moola and time. The comp sprang to life at the touch of the power switch.. Hoooooo! Am very much rejoice after seeing the results.


Intel inside, idiot outside.....
Check out the light at the back of the processor's fan. Its actually a cooling device which aids in removing heat from notorious over heat prone Intel processors. I am flabbergasted that such thing actually exist in the IT industry. Technology has no limits and boundaries.

Oh in case anyone is still pondering what i am talking about, its actually a normal fan. I am talking craps cos the lights makes it look beng.



Tadah.... the finished product. Cool casing from CoolerMaster Centurion which comes with no power supply. -___-" Uncle T02 said the blue coloured casing is more expensive then the red and silver ones but he sold me at the same price of the latter 2. Don't know if he is pulling a fast one on me.
