To flag a bus...

Recently there are complains from the public stating that bus drivers like to slam on the brake hard causing discomfort to its passengers. Hence a new campaigns (again) was launched hoping to aid all bus drivers.

This clearly shows that whoever did the research and implemented the campaign never realise the cause of the problem. If the root causes is not dealt with, things will not improve irregardless of how much money you spend.

Q: Why did these incident happen?
A: Because the public flag the bus too late and the bus driver wants to go all the way to aid the commuters even if such cases happens.

Q: Why did the public give such short notice to the bus drivers?
A: "This part was not answered before they implement such campaigns"

They might overlooked that their customers had a hard time identifying the correct bus. E.g. when you aged, your eye sight fails. They don't want to flag a wrong bus and ask it to drive away later. Have anyone notice how the elderly usually have to strain they eyes to read the bus number?

Red background with white wordings and a flourescent lamp lighting it is not a good combination. Both red and white are bright colours, put some lights to it both will glow and glare. Perhaps having the bigger bus numbers will also aid in this situation.

You can have Michael Shoemaker driving the bus for you but he is gonna perform the emergency brake stunt too.
